The funny thing is, this was recorded when? Like in the 1960s? Yet everything said here is true and even more so now. Great Speech : O Edited by Zigo, Sep 14 2011, 01:38 PM.

A deep speech to be sure of. The title is misleading however. The greatest speech was given by Anwar El Sadat in 1973. Don't be naive, the idea he presents is common. If you want to research a "truthful" speech, take it from the one deserving of giving it. |

This is, indeed, a very beautiful speech, but it's very ironic. After researching it, I found that it was made right before America entered World War and when European nations appealed to the disgusting greed/ horrors that Germany brought with them throughout the continent at the time. The most ironic part would be the fact that this guy, Charlie Chaplin, said this in a movie. He's generally known to be a comedian in his roles in movies.

You don't know, how PROFESSIONAL that was, Paragraphs and paragraphs of meaningful words, He made you consume em like steroid pills. smoothly. What I saw, is just a pure amazing speech skill, I'm stunned, People of old times..They always learned the hard way, And when they excel at something, well, THEY EXCEL at it. This surpass even the stupid Illuminati propaganda and speeches. It's just amazing, words just fail me when I describe how amazing this is. However, look, This is how you change people through your art, I hope you can learn a thing or two from him, instead of just going 'lul amazing speech *goes back to porn*" |

Plenty of today's means of entertainment incorporate similar ideas. There are less known men who have broken the status quo in truly real experiences. |

Real experience?...You can change people, through your art, work, politics, music or anything else. Those "Leaders" with "good" speeches, They didn't get down from the sky, They're humans with experience and feelings, If it weren't for the few "change" attempts of others(Artists, musicians, etc), Maybe they would've been a dictators with no "speeches" or whatever. There can never be a limit to what you can do, means of entertainment that incorporate similar ideas? For as long as we have "This is a game!" mentality, Not even Hideo Kojima\\Chuck Norris games will affect us a bit. Look at the bigger picture, Twistereo. |

I need to reevaluate my perspective of the Bible after hearing that one line. I haven't been a Catholic for a long time but after being exposed to this speech, which makes so much sense in itself, but as well as the ideas that Jordan shares in Spirit Science, as well as certain dogmas found in Satanism (which I was too blind to notice until now), all correlate to a fundamental understanding that there is an afterlife but we ultimately create it based off our experiences during life. The life we create here and now together as humanity, will ultimately affect what we experience what we die. Even if there is no such thing as a soul, and we cease to exist after death, those last moments could last an eternity. Time is relative. So although everyone else seems to be living at the normal speed, our last moments (those 7 minutes to everyone else), will last us plenty long enough, and we'll be immersed in a dream state where we are forced to look at ourselves and the lives we've created. This is just a theory assuming a genuine afterlife does not exist, where souls are made energy particles, but it makes sense.. That kingdom of god line got to me.. The rest of the speech was excellent and Chaplin executed it flawlessly and with such emotion, a spectacular actor. But that line... well, that whole paragraph just hit me hard. |
